Everyone is going to come in here and reply "no you can't get your retail banned. Microsoft doesn't do that anymore."

I hooked my rgh up and set it up then brought it online. 2 days later my retail was banned.

I had my retail unplugged and reset my router before and after bringing the rgh online.

Fresh accounts were on the rgh no retail accounts. Just hope for the best and if it does get banned then it's not that big of a deal just get a new one for like $200-$300

lol then your luck is bad, I've been online with my RGH 15 times offline files and online files, retail unplugged, always use my normal connection that I use for my retail aswell and the IP never changes since my connection is dynamic.

Lol, I bet you downloaded one of your hosting accounts on your retail that's why you got console banned.

MAC address of the router is highly unlikely to be seen by microsoft, as it is lost after another network level, such as connecting to your ISP.

MAC address of the console could be seen by microsoft if it is requested directly, but if not it would be lost when connecting to your router.

You can spoof MAC address of the console, using xebuild in advanced mode, and flashing the bin file to the nand.

Some routers also allow MAC spoofing on the router page (192.168.0.1 or something similar in UK), but not all.

The only time you ever have to worry about your retail being banned is when you are using offline files.

Dynamic ips change (usually when you restart your router), but anyways at least you console didn't get banned

I would recommend just using a vpn by bridging a connection from you console to your computer

Get a DemoN installed if you plan on going online. Going online with a modded console is asking to be banned.
