Can anybody fully explain to me how i can get internet in my own room without paying any extra money ? Send me links to what i need and i will rep. Im trying to look up this on my own but im new to this stuff and its just to hard for me to figure it out. From what i know so far a modem gives the internet and the router send signals throughout your house to give WIFI. What i need to know is how do i set it up ? And i was told i need a Ethernet splitter. But i don't know what is good and what is not.

I don't really understand what your asking given the fact that you're probably on the site via WiFi. Can you try to reiterate what you're trying to say? The only thing I can suggest is to check if you have an ethernet port in your room and if so, plug your computer in through that.

You will need a telephone line to plug the modem in, or use a ethernet cable running straight from the modem which is what I do and it's works perfectly.
If you insist on having it in your room, get a trade in electrical because that's the only free way.

I want a modem in my room and don't want to spend any extra money on separate internet. I want my own connection and not the connection downstairs. I need more Ethernet ports and the router downstairs does not have enough for me. I need my own modem just for Ethernet since that's what i like to use. Yes im using WiFi but if i could i would use a Ethernet for my laptop. I need to know what to get so i can do this.

What you want is impossible without paying for it, you want your own independent connection with no other users hanging off it. The only for you to have this is to have another ISP connection.
As for an Ethernet splitter that isnt going to working putting more than 1 connection on the end of it. A splitter will just split the signal, each device uses it's own IP address, so connecting 2 devices on a splitter wont work as the your sending two IP's into 1 port. A way to do this is to buy a 'MANAGED/SMART' Switch, this would allow you to choose the bandwidth/speed allowed on specific ports. For example you could choose to max your bandwidth on your devices, and limit other devices to receive minimum bandwidth
