I'm usually excited to play the new cods including AW but after a few weeks it becomes boring.
This cod should be a little different though since I have new friends to play with.

COD isn't exciting anymore cos they've made it way too futuristic and now its just full of too many things to annoy you. In my eyes they should just re-skin the old games, especially MW2... Best game ever!!

It could be because the repetitiveness. (Not saying that all the CoDs are alike) I mean in the sense that you have the same objective every time. What I do when I think CoD is getting boring is I set a goal for myself.

On Ghosts for example. If I am online playing team deathmatch, it usually gets really boring really fast because kids aren't that good in TDM. So look through my challenges and see what one's I am close to finishing and I go for them as well as going for gold guns.

tl;dr: Set a goal/objective in game that way you are not just doing the same thing.

I hate tryhards! I remember when people played just for fun and now they get all competitive and shit because they think it will get them somewhere in life. I only use my Xbox for Netflix. Games these days are just not that fun.

I cant say I enjoy CoD anymore. my favorite was WaW but not that its unplayable I'd say mw2 or Blops 1 were my favorite. I pretty much skipped Ghosts (played for a month). I will once again try Advanced Warfare to be honest im very excited to be back to CoD and AW looks awesome.

I agree, Call of Duty has without a doubt crashed but with the release of Advanced Warfare, maybe... just maybe they can come back from the last three pathetic attempts to make money.

I personally stopped getting excited for Call of Duty after the release of Black Ops 1. CoD 4 and MW2 were good, as was BO1. Then they started milking the series for money and have killed it for me. It just seems like they are throwing CoD games out too much.

Completely agree. All my friends go for high zombies rounds .. If i try to play online by myself, its like torture trying to finish the game, no matter what CoD.. They are all ruined, and always will be. Like others said, after Mw2 is just got awful..
