I suggest using only 8GB ram, honestly 8GB is perfect and you could use the rest of the money for an ssd or upgrade the graphics card

Also recommend getting a z97 chip motherboard for you can over lock in the future, look for the gigabyte z97p d3, it's lien 20 pound more expensive

You could save a lot of money on this build though, I'm building a computer right now for gaming and for the processer I went for the i5 4690k, there isn't an incredible differance between the CPUs and I'm guessing your looking to play games like dayz etc so the intel i5 4690k would be perfect and with the money you saved instead of buying the i7 you could spend more money on the gpu again, The gpu is the most important and it's better to go all out on one for you don't regret it. You could get a pretty sick gpu
