A CPU is your Central Processing Unit which is required for a build. Your GPU is your Graphics Processing Unit. Dedicated graphics aren't required if you're CPU has integrated graphics, but a dedicate GPU will reallyup your performance in games.These links aren't working for me for some reason.

Although, I already helped you a couple of days ago and gave you a perfectly good build for your budget, which you then disregarded and asked about buying an Alienware instead. Is your budget still £1000, if not, what is your new budget? I'll help you with a build.
