I don't see how that would be possible for 2 reasons.

1. If we are simulated beings then we are just code. I don't see how a computer code could break out into the 'real' world, it's not made of anything tangible.
Unless we broke out of our simulation into another simulation.

2. The beings who created the simulation wouldn't let us get that far if they saw what was going to happen.
They could just reprogramme us to act differently, or send an asteroid our way.

This is all hypothetical though, so it'd be impossible to know the real answer.
