Use XRPC as a plugin instead of RPC maybe that could be the problem.

Trust me try XRPC instead of RPC and it should work. Most tools tell you which plugins you need for them to work.

If you are unsure which to use just use both plugins...
XRPC
RPC

Question.
Are
JRPC
JRPC2
RPC
XRPC.
All the same thing? Just different versions? And which one is the newest/best?

maybe you have a broken xrpc or rpc plugin it happens a lot just find a clean one on one of the forums just search google
make sure that your rgh/jtag is set as default console in neighborhood cause thats how rpc works what ever console is set to default is what it connects to
so go to neighborhood
right click your rgh/jtag
set as default console
then retry the connection
if none of this helped you then idk what else to say
