I got a KV and its unban but when I put it into the root of HDD and reboot it wont activate... Why would this be?

Do you have the corresponding CPUKey.bin on the root as well?

Just flash your KV to your NAND, it is more secure and there are plenty of tutorials out there.

if you are using offline files just place the kv in the folder of the plugin and hv.bin and it will work
no need for flashing kv

And are you absolutely sure it is unabnned?
I was once sold a banned KV and ripped off.
