MS has really cracked down on the modding scene. They now have server sided checks on kvs, they monitor everything they do, and what they access. Wouldn't be surprised if they came out with an update banning a console that has xbdm.xex on the hdd.

Before the update, mine were lasting around a month or two depending on what I did. This update, I was playing mw2 for a week and was banned for playing legit.

Are you buying them as unshared? Because unshareds last week + but then again it could be just unlucky, this is what xbls posted on hf, it may help. All kvs are not lasting long.

don't know exactly what changed in this dash update, because not ALL KVs get banned quickly. I have a big stock of unshared KVs sitting on my PC for the last 4+ weeks, not a single one is banned and not a single duplicate.
Yet going online (even with the aforementioned unshared KVs) is a crap shoot on this dash. Even when changing IP, spoofing the MAC address to match the KV, and using a matching CPUKey, an unshared KV could last a long time as expected, or it could be banned very quickly. I think M$ is using a detection method based on some server-side data. It may be region related crosschecking (even within the same country?). I really don't know (neither do any of the other server owners), but the XOSC challenge seemingly did not change, and the XOSC response did not change.
You may be getting a very long lasting KV, but that is just luck. If you try other KVs, you will eventually experience a quicker ban as well (even if you extracted the KV yourself)
So, if you are being banned quickly on thetechgame.org, it is not because your KV was stolen by us. I have never taken a KV from a single user. Keep that in mind.

i have arround 20 kv's on my pc, all full unshared. the longest i can do with a single kv after the update is arround 4-5 days...

completely unshared on offline files mine last about a week and a half
