Looking to build a pc that will be able to run most games on high (Ultra)

Intel pref but can use AMD
Has to have SSD
1TB storage is fine

No keyboard, mouse or screen is needed.

400 pound budget.

Cheers

For 400 pound WITH an SSD I don't think it's too easy to get a really good PC.

It's about 30 pounds over budget but would handle games quite well, not sure about Ultra on some games like BF3/4 though.

This is a good build that jackfrags made. I actually made his build aswell but i tweaked a few things, such as use a coolermaster hyper evo 212 cooler, and adding 2 more extra hard drives but its a fantastic build. Runs battefield on High settings and can push to ultra if needed

Save £70 to add an extra 4GB RAM and an HDD. PCPartPicker doesn't take shipping prices into consideration most of the time. The Pentium G3258 is better than the FX-6300, especially when overclocked, plus you can easily upgrade to an i5/i7. 128GB SSD will be fine for your OS and a few games, but you'll want to add a 1TB HDD pretty soon for mass storage. 4GB RAM will handle games fine, but 8GB would be beneficial so add another stick of the same RAM as soon as you can. Good quality PSU etc etc.
