Well I think I deserve gold, because over the course of the 2 years that I've been with this site, I have been very active, but not in a spamming way just to get my posts up, every post I make is either intended to help someone or its a modded lobby post. I love this site and this community. I know I might not be the most ideal person to pick but, you never know.

You should be gifting because you want too, not because you're going to get a bonus once you've gifted a certain amount of people.

Nonetheless, gifting gold to others is always a nice way to show your appreciation for the site. I just hope you continue to gift once you've received the badge.
