NOTE: THIS ISN'T A RANT MAKING FUN OR TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE WITH A MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DISORDER.
Okay so basically, I'm ranting on the privileges people with disorders get. In my AP Calculus class, I have to take care of TWO people with disabilities. It's not even major disabilities! One has to be carried in a wheel chair and has slight down syndrome and one has intellectual disability. I have to right down notes for them, carry their books which has caused me to be tardy to my next class four times and I have explain to them what my teacher is explaining.
This isn't just World History or Biology, this is AP Calculus! How am I supposed to take care of myself and two other people in the class when this is my MOST important subject. When I say, "Hold on let me finish a problem" or "Wait, let me write this down", they complain an I get fussed at for "being disrespectful" or being a jerk.
They have classes at my school for people with disabilities so why are they in an Advanced Placement math class!? I am on the brink of a C in that class because of this.
I tried talking to administration but they think I'm being rude or think I have all the time in the world to teach these kids when I'm being taught myself.
This is outrageous! I'm not a special ed. teacher so why am I teaching?

If you are going to keep bitching than it will never get better. I'm being brutally honest, when life gives you adversity you must face it and either persevere or lose. You are losing because you don't want to do it, and you don't care about them. Maybe they are smart as hell, but how come you have not said to the teacher that I no longer want to do this. You need to be courageous and strong, you are in no way a slave to these people and you did not sign any contract to take care of these people. You are a student that is their to learn, not to teach. So tell them straight up. Don't complain about it.

I've spoken to the teacher three times. Before I started doing it because I was hesitant. I asked about a week after progress reports(How I know my grade was falling)and he said contact administration because he had no control over who's in his students and last Thursday was when I actually talked to them.

Honestly, you don't have to do this there is no way they can hand you there problems legally. I'd go back to administration and kick em' in the throat...

Privileges?
They're born with disabilities they will have for the rest of their life. There's a reason why they need help, because they can't do what the average person could do on their own. And they will never be able to, because they were born that way. But yeah, they're the ones that are privileged.
Sigh, people these days.
