Alright so I've been using StormPlay for a few days now and it opens up with options for Movies, TV, Remote, and Settings. You are able to seet your video directories and it will download artwork as well as information, ratings, video length and so on.

Basically you get this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Now as you see it has done the above mentioned for a select few of my movies but it hasn't done it for all of them. If I leave the program run in the background or while I'm watching a movie it will download all the meta data for some of my movies but it doesn't work on all of them.

So I'm looking for a program that does the same as this one does, maybe it looks a little bit more polished instead of a multi-gray toned color scheme. I just want a program that I can open up, go to my movies section and see all of their cover art's and information on them. On a side note, I'm working on renaming all of my downloaded anime files to their correct names so if anybody has a program that can do the same for Anime, or a program that can do both please let me know.

I use MetaX which fills in all metadata for films, TV etc. It will fill in all the metadata for the media file itself so its useful for iTunes and other media players. So it should fill in the metadata for your media files for when you put them into StormPlay.

Here is a screenshot of what the files look like after MetaX has filled the metadata and the file is put in iTunes: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

MetaX is free for Mac but not for Windows however on Windows you can fill the metadata for 5 files in the trial then it requires a license to use more but you can use the trial again by using MetaX on another windows user profile.

You can use Plex as a way to stream your in-home media to other devices.
