I will always love and hate it, i'm one of the "Pre-EOC was best"

With that note RS3 is actually quite cool I made a new account and did the tutorial to get the feel and doing the quests really gets me into the runescape lore. Honestly after playing it for over 7 years it is the game that will never get old and I don't know why.

I want to get a general feel for runescape today, I haven't played since the 718 era which was ALONG time ago!

Well the game has had it's up's & down's tbh but I could never get away from RS as it's a good game. The player base is abit bad but at the same time it's good as I wont run into people cutting my trees or something like that or how many botter's there was.. The game can get abit boring with out friends or someone to chat with but that's mostly what every game is like so it's half half tbh. I'm not really sure if there is, As I don't really use the RS3 stuff.

used to play runescape so much before all this EoC crap, now i get on it about once a month if that, it's just all to much off a change for me and i really don't like it.

Also i don't feel like forking out money for 07 when i can just go play an private server.

eoc is just bad but im glad they added the option for legacy layout or i would not be playing it.i find it hard to make money #nub but its fun to play.

oldschool for me "my own opinion,its just bad" i was never playing it when the game was like that so i dont know the basics of it without the grand exchange :3

the whole games it self is based upon opinions wether somebody likes oldschool or rs3

Lets just say i can still remember when there was near to 1 million players playing rs! When there was no GE it was fun when the really old wild was all the pvp and it was a crazy envirement the most fun i ever had

I completely agree, ill still play eoc

Personally, I love the Legacy option. It lets me choose between the two (EOC and Legacy).

But one thing I've been really loving about Runescape now is this new Ironman mode. It's brought a new sense of fun for the game to me because of the challenge.

personally i think runescape will never be the same back in 06 it was the best, you struggled to get on a world now private servers have more people on them then real rs

Runescape was best back in 06.
It was easy to use and noob friendly. Yeah when the GE was added I thought it was a great addition until they started bringing out graphic updates, gameplay updates. There was so much to do back then with no item keep on pvp. It made it so much better because as you got used to the game you had to be smart about what you did. I would gladly pay $25 for the old runescape membership but nowadays I would not even pay $0.01 for membership it is that bad.
