I've been trying to make a logo using 2 letters and this came out... I seriously need help and don't know where to start

By far my favorite tutorials by Andrew Kramer. He is very good at what he does. Look up some of the tutorials, there is over 170 tutorials.

Most of his tutorials are for intros and such, but I use After Effects to make my logos because there are a lot of different effects and such I can apply. Just what I do though
