Quickscoping does do take skill. If you need to practice to get better, its considered skill.

Quickscoping takes skill, but not in the way people wish to admit it. It takes skill in the sense, that even if you're using aim assist (consoles) you can't sit and rely on it, if you have bad reaction time, terrible judgement and placement, you're going to miss or end up with a hitmarker. If you're not using aim assist (PC doesn't have it and can disable on consoles) it's much harder because now you have to do all the work for yourself. It seems like it "takes no skill" because they are using aim assist and a gun that is made for almost always one shot, one kills. Now, if you always play with aim assist on, take it off for a game or two, jump in with a regular gun and you'll see how it starts to affect your performance when playing without aim assist, no matter what you're using, it's going to take some skill, same with when using aim assist, you can't rely on aim assist to always help you, yes it does help, but it's not going to do the work for you, where the skill comes into play.
I know quickscoping seems "OP" but in general, people always complain about sniping on any game.
CoD, people complain dying from a sniper in general whether it's quickscoping or sitting in a spot, watching an area and hardscoping or using one of the weaker rifles, that require more than one shot, where after you send two bullets down range, you're instantly "spraying."
CSGO, people complain about you using the AWP (one shot kill with no armour, one shot kill from the knee and up with armour) and complain about semi-auto snipers because again "take two shots, you're instantly starting to spray and pray."
Battlefield, people complain about snipers because they can sit in one spot, and pick people off from long ranges if they have the patience and skill to measure the bullet drops.
Sniping in general always seems OP, regardless of how it's used. I know being quickscoped can be annoying, but it does take skill, just as using a shotgun takes skill, using a pistol takes skill, any gun. If you don't know how to aim it properly or shoot first, chances are, you're going to get gunned down, regardless of what you're using or what they're using.

I use to play quickscopes In private matches with a few buddies, back when I played CoD, and honestly It didn't take me long at all to get good at It, 2 or 3 games actually so no It doesn't take skill just some practice It's mostly aim assist whether hardcore quickscopers want to believe that or not just remember anyone can do It

What defines 'Good' ?
Hitting every shot? Hitting 50% of your shots?
Whether someone is good or not is subjective.
To a newcomer, someone who hits 20% of their shots might seem like a quickscoping God, but to someone like [insert well known sniper here] that person would seem terrible.
Here's an easier way to prove your point though.
Take someone who has never played Call of Duty before, give them a sniper and tell them to get a FFA quickscoping gameplay where they get 30 kills, less than 10 deaths, and hit over 75% of their shots.
If it takes no skill and it's all aim assist, they should have no problem.

how is this even a rant.
it's still a video game, but for the record anyone can tryhard, but not everyone can snipe.
