Put this together for a friend, and wondering if anyone had any suggestions. It's more like $650 but with the rebates it'll come out to about $580 with peripherals he needs.

Just a quick warning, rebates aren't 100% if you don't fill it in correctly or if the computer gets too greedy to give you their shekels.


The build looks fine, a SSD will give you better performance.

Drop the HDD/ Downgrade to 4GB RAM / Drop the CD Drive (install OS via USB)
