whats the point of pokemon omega ruby and sapphire arent they just remakes with better graphics? couldnt you just buy the originals

What's the point of Fire Red and Leaf Green?
What's the point of Soul Silver and Heart Gold?

Its a remake with new features and far better graphics on a new platform which allows a better game design.
Ruby and Sapphire recently celebrated their 10 year anniversaries, a remake is welcomed with open arms imo.

Yeah, I think because of the popularity of Emerald? I mean I hate Gen 3's engine, but I love the games so much so now I can finally play them and we get a whole bunch of cool new megas!
