I just hopped on GTA 5 for the second time this month, i was surprised that it didn't let me go online, not sure if there is a Update. The last update i got was the Team Spirit update or something like that. The servers shouldn't be down for that long tho, usually it take R* a hour or two to clear things up.


if anyone can fill me in on if there is an new update or if i missed any new updates from the team spirit, that would be great

The reason for it to be down is to prepare for the gta 5 lunch in next gen consols. So the servers are down in atleast 7 Hours. Well that was what rockstar said

10/28/14: In preparation for the November 18, 2014 launch of GTAV on PS4 and Xbox One, we will be performing service maintenance on Wednesday, October 29, starting at 2:00 PM ET / 6 :00 PM GMT and lasting approximately 7 hours.
