Hey guys I keep getting this error when trying to join an online game of GTA V on PS3.
"Files required to play gta online could not be downloaded from the rockstar games service."
It tells me to go back to gta single player and try again.
I have turned off my PS3 pleanty of times and I have also cleared my cache for the game.
Still no luck. Could anyone explain what is happening and how to fix it? If not any ideas?

The servers are down for maintenance check on rockstars website for updates!

The rockstar servers have been down for 6 hours and will be back up in the next 3 hours (really in 6 hours knowing rockstar)

10/28/14: In preparation for the November 18, 2014 launch of GTAV on PS4 and Xbox One, we will be performing service maintenance on Wednesday, October 29, starting at 2:00 PM ET / 6 :00 PM GMT and lasting approximately 7 hours. The Social Club website and online features across most Rockstar titles will be unavailable. Apologies in advance for any inconvenience.
