I don't think It speaks good things for Sledgehammer, but hackers will always find a way, much like every year.
Just don't ruin the game for players who want to play legit, and I don't care either way haha.
Thanks <3

I'd like to start this off by saying that what you are referring to as "hacks" are mods. Hacks in not the proper term to use when talking about consoles. Which makes the people using them modders not hackers.
This does not speak ill for Sledgehammer. There is no permanent way to fix these mods. These mods do not ruin the game. The only reason they are easy to come across is because maybe 100 people have played the game online.
The mods are NOT infectable.
They are host-only mods.
When the player with the mods is host, everyone will experience them.
As I stated earlier these mods cannot be 100% fixed. They exist in the games code. The people using the mods are simply pushing a value/ Offset to the server, which activated the mods. They Offsets get updated ever TU, but can easily be relocated and applied.
The servers did not have their DemonWare activated at the time. This checks to see if the system is modified or not. Sledgehammer has since fixed this issue. There is no point in say that a company has failed or is heading toward failure before there product is officially released.
Every game goes through this. Not just Call of Duty.
I find it kind of funny that users complain about the mods, yet most of the people that have played the game early played it on a modified console that runs burnt copies of games. Sure some have legit copies, but those are few and far in-between.
Don't worry about yours or others Advanced Warfare experience being ruined by somthing that WILL NOT be an issue when the game is released on 11/3/14.
This is not hate. This is just me noticing that you had facts incorrect about this topic. In order to talk about modding you have to know the information fully.

Sorry for the late reply, working + holiday. Not fun haha.
Thanks for clarifying and not being a total ass about it.
I know im a bit misinformed in regards to hacking/modding, etc. but I was just stating my opinion of the matter that the mods were running rampant in the game already.
I suppose it does happen every year but on my side (content creation) its just about getting the news out as well as filling the video out to make it last 3 mins or so.
When I was talking about infections I was talking about previous call of duties (MW2 and below) sorry if it was unclear.
I had also stated in my video I am aware they will never be fixed, just suppressed.
As long as they do not ruin my experience in call of duty, feel free.
Thanks for the information and I will keep it in mind

It doesn't say anything about SH There are no updates for the thing, So we will get to see them perform on day one if it holds up good on them if not they have some work to do.

I think every game experiences this issue. Like said above there is no permanent fix for mods only patches that make it only slightly harder to mod. Also current gen hasn't been successfully rgh'd/modded to run unsigned code yet.

I know this will be off topic but, in the video it sounds like you're reading off of a script. The flow of words just sound unnatural to me at least. Not trying to be a dick by saying any of this but, it may be something you should work on.

In BO2 and Ghosts it was almost non-existant. They did a very good job keeping it away from the community. But you are correct, it does happen before release almost every year. I just needed some news to report on for a vid
