I keep seeing livestreams of people unlocking things from supply drops and it going into there armory. In this armory I know you can redeem it for things but at the top it says a number of free slots.. Does this mean that we can only keep a limit of things from our supply drops?

If it does i think this is bad as I would like to have most variants of guns in the game but if theres a limit I wont be able to get them all.

If anyone knows the answer please respond

Hm that would be worrisome. I can't say I have the answer, but I feel like they wouldn't do that. What fun would it be if you could only unlock a certain number of variants? That doesn't make much sense to me, how can they advertise "350 weapon variants" if you can't get them all?

Yes, it's true you can only store 80 items.
