Or maybe things in life went sour for them? Maybe they lost their jobs due to companies downsizing? Do you even remember what the economy was like back in '08? Some people may not have recovered from that.

in the US I do not, I was in paris about a month ago and I did. I felt like they were actually homeless.

Honestly? I walk past and ignore their existence, it's a dick move but there are so many poor people in the world and I try to support charities so we can help them all
