Just do it, sit down at your computer and get it done and then think about all the games you can play after. Although i just winged it all the night before

I have the same problem, i usually just tell myself not to play games and just do my school work and after going through 3 days without playing games, then you could do it for ever. I'm not sure about you but personally i feel like it is a psychological thing and we can all tell ourselves to do things and to not to do things. I guess it just comes down if you want to be successful in life.

I've got some more assignments to do tonight, going to get the work done first! Bad thing is, my college course is a software development course therefore I'm always on my PC, regardless if im playing games or doing work. I guess there's always distractions whilst I'm doing work

The way I motivated myself before I dropped out was.
I do this assignment or have 100% attendance over a month.
I'd then buy myself something that I really wanted, in my case shoes or clothes.
This may not work if you have everything you want or are not motivated by material things, but it worked for me.

To get me motivated, I just think about whats at the end of all the work.

Focusing on college work may be a little stressful on someone. But remember, as much work as it may be, it'll lead to a greater future. Just think about it! Leave your games aside for a while.
