I have a 2010 MacBook pro which I stupidly spilt lucozade over the keyboard about 40+ hours ago now I immediately unplugged it flipped it over and turned it off, it didn't turn its self off which gives me a bit of hope, I dried it off about half an hour later I opened it up took most parts out such as hdd memory SuperDrive and battery unfortunately for me i don't have the correct tools to remove the logic board, everything inside seemed to be pretty dry by the way and I can't see any traces of liquid in there, but I haven't been able to check the Underneath of the motherboard due to not having the correct tools and Im also trying to keep this a secret from my parents as I don't think they will be very happy about this, luckily enough I'm quite good with computers so I'm hoping the steps I have took so far may have been able to save the MacBook what should I do now, it's been 48 hours should I put it back together and see if it works?

Leave it for a bit longer, if you try to turn it on while there is still liquid in there, you can say bye bye to your mac book.

Or lordy you actually opened it, I'd be more concerned about breaking anything as you remove the backpanel or the internals. Also do not remove the logic board, if you damage it in any way you may as well buy a new MacBook as they cost insane money.

Keep the macbook somewhere well ventilated and leave it switched off for atleast 48 hours try and clean off the keyboard and other external parts with a damp cloth so they are not all sticky when you are trying to use it.
My old laptop survived fanta pouring over it as I was able to remove the power and battery before anything shorted out which is what will kill components.
