I started playing ranked about 2 months before the season ended and I got to gold 5. I didn't play a lot of ranked though.

Season 3 I managed to get gold from a huge grind from around silver 4.
I did my promos for season 4 relatively near the end of the season and got Gold 3 and continued playing until Gold 2 with 40 IP and just stopped trying, this season I'm going for platinum at least.
