Recently, about a week ago I bought a new hp laptop with windows 8.1. It did a windows update then failed and is now stuck at "we couldn't complete the changes, undoing changes don't turn off your computer" I've already hard restart it and will always go back to the same screen. Any help is greatly appreciated since I've had this for not even a full week and this already happened. And it also didn't come with a cd.

Boot into the recovery tool the PC will have and the best option will a system restore before the updates were installed that windows update would have created.
