Hey guys I'm looking at upgrading my rig this Christmas cause I've its been a few years and it's getting outdated and slow. Unfortunately because I've been so busy with college work and now uni I haven't had time to keep up to date with new components over the past few years. So I need your help. Here is my current rig;

CPU: AMD Athlon x4 750k 3.4GHz
MB: MSI FM2-A55M-E35 micro Atx
GPU: Powercolour Radeon 7750 4gb version
RAM: 8gb 1600 MHz(Can't Remember Brand)
Cooler:Raijintek Aidos Direct Contact CPU Cooler
PSU:500W
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb 7200RPM
Case: Galaxy Bubble ATX Case

Need to know anything else just ask. Want to spend about 300/400 also ideally i want to switch to Intel was thinking of a G3258 I know its a dual but still better than an AMD quad. Cheers for the help. i think my gpu might be able to last so ill try and keep hold of it.

If you could up your budget just a little, you could squeeze an SSD in there but for now, that is a good upgrade.

This would be slightly better in games.

This would include a SSD thus improve load times ect.
