Mine goes up December 1st along with the Christmas lights outside, and all goes down on New Years.

The only reason we do it is because we are too lazy to put christmas lights up outside. We don't want our neighbors to think we worship the anti-christ or something LOL. either way, i'm an atheist. We still put up a christmas tree though. The rest of my family isn't atheist so i have no problem with it.

Whenever we do we don't have a set date to put it up. It's usually in December whenever we have time.
