my controller for my xbox one is currently infront of me opened up as im changing a few parts however im wondering if i can simply cut the wires connecting the rumble packs because i dont want them anyway, will the controller still function properly if the rumble packs are removed, please help! Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's messing the controller up is it wireless? If it isn't go to gamestop and trade in that one for a wireless one

Yeah i'm pretty sure you can remove the rumble pads by either un soldering them or by just cutting them and it will still work fine.I don't see why it would affect it, if it never did anything with the xbox 360 controller...

If it's anything like a 360 controller, shouldn't break it at all, don't see why it should either.
