is it possible to use a different nand dump on my xbox as I havn't got the nand for my xbox but got on off the same console (falcon) so I was just wondering is I can wright that to my nand and will it be working fine or does it need to be jtagged or rgh'ed ? as it isn't jtagged or rgh'ed I bought it off a mate and he lost the nand files

Yes its possible you can check if its exploitable by the dash version

I had the same issue today when rebuilding a RGH that had a bad KV inside witch messed the nand up.
If your console still boots into Xell this will be straight forward as Xell will write a updflash.bin from a pendrive/USB / HDD if its formatted to fat32 and the file is in its root dictionary
if not youall have to manually reflash using a JRP/nand-x
Follow this guid to rebuild a nand. All you need is the RGH CPU key ( console you want to fix ) and the CPU key and a nand from same MOBO console ( example Falcon ).
If you dont have the a CPU key for the spare nand download a donor nand witch has a cpu key( google it )
