Yo guys, just a quick question as to which AMD CPU would be the best for me to get as it's soon Christmas. Price isn't much of a problem as I have been saving myself as well as money from family.
Currently running a R9 280x GPU and looking to crossfire in the near future but my current CPU: (Phenom II x4 955 BE) is holding me back! 8GB of Vengance RAM. Water Cooler for the CPU as well as a Corsair RM750 PSU.
As well as the CPU I will need a new MoBo also so I'm hoping to keep the entire cost between 250-300 - $400-470.
Looking for something that will be able to run Arma 3 a bit better than I already can, as well as games like BF4 and GTA V when released. Thanks for the help guys.

Will this CPU work well for the Graphics work I do (Rendering videos, Photoshop work) also? And what will the difference be between the Water Cooling and Fan be?

yes that CPU will beat any AMD CPU on rendering photos, games etc. I dont recommend the board though. Try to find a ASUS, gigabyte has given me plenty of issues, they are cheap and crappy quality.

Gigabyte are equally as large as asus, they in fact also produce better overclocking boards in my opinion.

What's the Motherboard like? I know it's not the most expensive but I don't want to be cutting my money on it so much that problems will start to arise?

Are you going to be overclocking or not?
