I've just completed the campaign on veteran and haven't unlocked any achievements for doing veteran. I didn't even get the achievement for completing it on any difficulty?

Anyone know why?

Its because Treyarch suck arse pal :/ Nah I seriously dont know but they do suck ass, Just mod the achievements?

You sure you have done the entire level not missed out checkpoints?
Or have you been tampering with your gamesave?

The only thing I did is got myself coloured classes for online if thats tampering with gamesave. Though, I did hear something about the computer in the main menu, a mate told me to enter the codes in the computer, and this stops the achievements.

Treyarch are :idea: im banned from online and don't get achievements

There Are Only Two Reasons Why You Have Not Got The Achievements...

Using Cheats At The Computer In The Chair Room To Unlock All - '3ARC Unlock'

Or

During Gameplay On Veteran - Lowered Your Difficulty Level.

These Are The Only Two Things That Would Stop It.

By Unlocking Everything, Did You Still Think You Would Get Achievements?

To Be Honest, Your Friend Should've Told You This And It Was On Every Website Saying Activating Cheats Would Cancel Achievements.

The Only Thing You Can Do Which Might Work - Delete Your Game Saves/Everything To Do With Black Ops Apart From MP Data. This Might Work But I Haven't Tried.
