Since jailbreaking I have experienced a severe drop in battery life. I have been able to deal with it but now I cannot deal with how short it is anymore. However, I love everything that comes with the jailbreak.

Is the jailbreak worth the loss in battery life?

If you can out up with it then it's worth it as you get apps free ect... But I would suggest closing unused apps an turning your brightness down to help save that extra battery life

The jailbreak doesn't really effect your battery life, it's what you put on it after. A lot of packages/tweaks from Cydia = battery drain. If you're on iOS 8, download DetailedBatteryUsage from Cydia and check what's using the most % of your battery usage. You may find the cause. Settings > Usage > Battery Usage. Another package from Cydia is Battery Life and it'll allow you to see your battery capacity, you may just have a knackered battery. Also NoTracking+ and NoLiveClock will help your battery life a little.

Jailbreaking your device does not effect your battery life. The tweaks and things that you install that come with jailbreaking however, is a different story. Remove the power hungry tweaks and apps and you should see a difference in your battery life.

As said above It's your Cydia tweaks giving you the mass battery drain. Mostly background tweaks especially ones that use WiFi will drain your battery. Have a look at what you've installed and see if you really need them.
