I just logged in and wasn't prompted for an update. Are you talking about an update that was latterly released? If so, you can check out Halo's official twitter page here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and you will be able to select links pertaining to certain updates.

Our upcoming content update is still on track for delivery this week, and includes a variety of updates for Matchmaking, UI, roster and lobby, and more.
