Decided against your $1400 build?
For around $630 before rebates, you're looking at something like this;

$6 more before rebates, $10 less after rebates. Better CPU, PSU and case. 280 is slightly behind the 280x performance wise but the 280 is still enough for 60FPS on a single 1080p panel. If you want a little extra performance from the 280, overclock it and you should be able to match, or almost match the 280x in performance.
