Alright so I ordered an Asus Monitor that runs at 1080p however I'll be using it as a main display for my secondary laptop. My problem is that the laptop runs at 1366x768, I'm on Windows 8.1 64bit and I've set it so that it only displays to the Asus Monitor and not the laptop display but I am still getting black bars around the desktop. I have about a 1/2 inch on each side of the screen that cannot be used. The laptops GP supports up to 2560x1600 for digital resolution. I'm using an HDMI cable so there shouldn't be a problem, any help is greatly appreciated.
