Kracka wrote I would get the vw. All the cars you listed are not good first cars. You need some experience before getting behind a car like those. You also got to remember those cars insurance is ridiculous. Insurance for my evo would be around $550 a month if i didn't have the deal i had.

That's one advantage we have with insurance. We get good rates as it's one of my dad's friends who owns an insurance agency we use. That's why when I presented those my dad had an open mind. Now my mom on the other hand pry would say no.

Still without experience i could easily see an accident happening with you in the future. I have seen it happen too many times.

Woah, no need to be rude. I've looked at RX 8's actually. Problem with rotary cars in general is that they require oil often, they require gas on top of that oil like any other car, maintenance can be expensive and also I need to find a shop in my area that specializes in rotary engines (a good one at that). Does that deter me from one? No. I actually forgot to mention it in my post.

This
when you pass you will want to drive like a nutter, I did for a few days and then realized that it really isn't worth it. You will more than likely crash.
Someone that I know, had his license for all of 2 months and rolled his car 4 times.

Those turboed cars you listed will suck up oil too. You should just get a beater off craigslist for a first car or get something na and safe.

Yea, but the turbo should return the oil to the engine. I am pretty sure that's how it works. Anyways, I'll probably be attempting to get VW R32. I really just love the car and I know it pretty well.

I have a Volvo v40 and its awesome. I got it when I was 16, Volvo's are very reliable, safe & decent on mileage. I would recommend a Volvo to anybody.
