The title really says it all i ways wondering if i should go for the evga 980 or just get another gtx770 classified to run in sli with my other 770.

One single 980.

Also a lot of games don't support Multiple GPU's

If you can get a gtx 980 go for it then later sli that. Plus sli ain't optimised for all games so could get zero improvement in some games

970 would be your best bet.

You don't anything better unless you're running a 1440p+ monitor.
