The Forest a survival horror game was just announced for ps4 not completely sure if it's exclusive to ps4 but there is a growing audience for these kind of games including me and I hope Xbox will announce a survival game of there own . Thanks for reading

If either company think the game will get them a lot of money, then they will buy it from the game creators and make it an exclusive.

I am also sure that they do bids as well.

Like PS4 pays the company who made The Forest $2M
and then MS comes and throws in $10M
They will obviously take the higher amount. This only happens if they know they will get money in return from people buying.

I feel like priority to make exclusive games is dying down. You can see MS doesn't have many options on the table right now, MCC, so if a company does want to pitch a game to MS they are going to want a franchise. Not some 1 and done game.
