Ok so I've always been a picky person, with food, clothes, etc... and my parents have a hard time getting gifts for me to christmas every year because I never really want anything. This year, I told my parents that I want a Xbox One unity bundle, far cry 4, and a 12-month live subscription. I pretty much know that I'm going to get those items for sure. In a way, I feel almost guilty for asking for all gaming stuff. Like sure I'll definitely enjoy playing with it but at the same time it's like, why did I make my parents pay so much for just one item. It's really hard to explain how I'm feeling. Anyone else get some sort of feeling like this?

I know the feeling, but I didn't ask for it.
I'm 18 now and I feel I'm kind of too old to be asking for big Christmas presents.
In Scotland, I can loan 5000GBP a year and pay that back later in life so it's not like I can't buy it myself.
And we aren't that well off, my Dad's un-employed and my mum isn't paid too well.
So I just bit the bullet and didn't ask for anything this year.
I'll buy my own closer to when the next Cod and Fifa comes out cause it'll be cheaper then.
For your situation, it could be completley different.
I don't know how old you are?
Do you have an income with that you could buy it yourself?
Do your parents have good jobs?
Do they have the money for it?
You shouldn't feel guilty about it though.
Just don't ask for so much that your parents are struggling.
And make sure to get them gifts.

Thank you man. Glad to know there are still some friendly faces in the community. I was expecting to just get yelled at for being too sensitive lol
