Hey guys whats up, last night i was a sleep when i got an email so my phone made a alert noise like it should, i woke up to check it and unplugged it from the charger and it turned black screen, i tried turning it on and it is now completely dead! It doesn't connect to itunes and it doesn't turn on.
I've tried holding the home button and power button down at the same time so don't suggest that please! I will pay for a fix!
I want to avoid anything that involves going into my phone if possible:/
thanks!

your phone is already on. It's known as the 'Black screen of death.'
Wait for it to die, should take between 1-2 days. when it does, put it on charge through the computer. It should recognise the phone on itunes. Then restore from a back up or restore to factory settings. Other than trying this method. I'd take it to an Apple store. See what they can do for you. Hope you find a solution.
*Edit 1: People are saying online that you should hold both the power and home button for 30 seconds, I know you said not to put this, but have you tried doing it for a long duration of time? *

As your phone is on, you could try holding the home button and asking siri to play music. But other than this it may just take a while.

Rash wrotePut your earphones in, I guess that might make a difference? If not then just wait it out to run out of battery.Odds wroteRash wroteOdds wrote your phone is already on. It's known as the 'Black screen of death.'

You can try booting the phone while holding up on the volume as that is something that can get you out of the "Black Screen of Death" if you are jailbroken
