So, i'm sure many of you have noticed this section is filled with none sense im going to help you find your way through
*1st off Regarding Lobbies and how not to get Scammed*
Im sure all of you know that a tool to decrypt the Black Ops fastfiles has been leaked. With that being said the files can be decrypted,decompressed and modded.
When i say modded patches i mean modified Patch_mp.ff like mw2 so there will be many NEW mods coming out but none of them will be of any use for Xp untill we can get JTAGS online or get system to work.
Many people will be making videos of their new mods. With the way this forum has being going regarding scams im sure we will see them pick up. People will now probably be making their posts look more convincing. By adding their own videos and colours to their text in the post.
What im trying to say in this post is watch out be aware. I don't want to see anyone get scammed. I also wouldnt mind not seeing scammers posting their scams.
DO NOT pay for any "15th lobby" on or offline unless the post is verified by a staff member!
Ways to tell if a post is verified
-Stickied
-Trusted Seller
-Staff vouch on the thread! Make sure you can see the reply from the staff on the actually thread!
*Even though some threads are verified, you never know when someone can go to the dark side and scam! If you get scammed by a verified post or trusted seller alert staff right away. No it is not TTG's fault for you getting scammed. You are on your own once you send the money or subscription card to the person. All TTG does is guide you to more known sellers and sellers with good feedback and trusted by members (has sold on TTG for along time with no problems)
I hope this helps you not get scammed and explains a bit on the lobby front

So im sure you all know who to trust when it comes to lobbies. If you don't well let me tell you.
Trust stickied posts and trusted sellers! If you choose to trust others and get scammed...that's your own fault so don't complain.
Some of you may not know what a sticky thread looks like of a trusted seller looks like well let me show you.
A stickied thread is a thread with a big green check mark beside it like this

A Trusted seller is someone who has this badge by there name!

Or they have a vouch from staff on their post!

When it comes to paying someone for a lobby i HIGHLY suggest you go to them!
*3rd off how to tell when lobbies are even possible and when they are not*
As you can see at the top of each forum there is announcements & Stickies. If you want a 15th lobby which lots of you do you will go to the 15th lobby section!
When you get there you will see at the top of the page a warning that states all lobbies are fake! Some people say screw it and post their fake lobbies anyways. A good way to tell that the lobbies that are posted are fake is when all the Stickied posts are closed and there is announcements warning you like this.

As you can see they are all closed. Remember those are all the trusted members who have their shops closed...trust me they are closed because lobbies are not possible! If lobbies were possible they would be up and running and trying to make some bank!
These are the unverified posts and atm they are all just fakers/claimers/scammers anyone saying that they are hosting is FAKE. These people have ignored the warning for psoting fake lobbies and are still trying to scam.

As you can see people are happy with the service they provided and have given good feedback on the post!
*Section 4 how not to download a virus...*
So many people will claim to have made sick new mods for black ops or say they have made a new program that gives you 15th prestige and so on.
Well its the same as before only trust the downloads to these things with good feedback! Also if it is a stickied post!
Im not saying all downloads posted on normal threads are viruses im just saying its a higher chance.
Common names for a download link are megaupload, rapidshare, & multi upload
If the program has a Dl link like downloadme.hh.cc.kk or any weird link to not trust it!
my last tip for download is make sure they provide a virus scan!
On the virus scan make sure it says nothing found everywhere! If it says virus detected or names a type of virus I.e Trojan THEN DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT
A clean virus scan will look like this

*Section 5 how to know if the Topic is useful or users enjoyed it!*
If a topic has many thanks then that is usually a good sign! If the topic has lots of comments and lots of thanks then that is good!
If a topic has lots of comments but no thanks or very little thanks then i suggest you look elsewhere to find what you are looking for and do not trust that thread

*Section 6 Users that are more trustworthy (regular users no badges besides gold)*
Not everyone who does not have a badge is scammer. As a matter of fact many users are just as legit as any trusted member it all depends on the feedback customers give about them.
Usuaully users who i trust the most are ones who have a high reputation or a decent amount of posts. Also make sure they have lots of proof on their topic and their topic looks good and organized!
A user who has high rep and has a good amount of posts looks like this

A user who i would not trust is someone who joined yesterday has 1 post and has -Rep
If a user has -rep there will be a red box beside reputation and it will say like -3 rep or -w.e amount of -rep they have
*Section 7 a good looking post from a bad*
A post to trust is one with lots of proof and one that is very organized and detailed!
The posts i usually trust and buy from look a little bit like this

To me all this means is that he needs a 48 hour live card so he can play some XBL with his buddies.
People who host lobbies rarely accept MSP or live subscriptions because KV cost MONEY not MSP!
*Section 8 if you see a pointless topic or an obvious scam!*
If you see a post that is clearly a scam simply report it and move on! Usually people will post scam on it and sometimes 15 people will post scam on it and all that does is bring it back to the top of the forums where everyone can see it and it makes more possible for people to be scammed. Once you have reported the post a mod will check it out when they have time! The staff are very busy especially now around the holidays everyone is off school and posting like crazy! just give them time and it will be dealt with.
A Pointless topic would be someone posting about how bad McDonalds is for you in the Black Ops section.
An Obvious Scam would be someone saying they will Host you a 16th lobby for a 1 month card. reason being there is no "16th lobbies" or any way to get 16th anymore because GPD's are patched. 2nd of all JTAGS can not get online simple as that

Section 9 Account sales & Trades
I have seen to many people creating posts saying "will tade for 15th" "selling 15th account". Well incase you did not know selling/trading accounts on TTG is against the rules. There is an annoucement in 15th section for Black Ops stating acoount sales are not allowed anyone who posts that they are selling an account will be issued a warning. Please take the time to read the rules and annocenments before you post topics. All these posts do is create more work for the staff. Im pretty sure they have alot to deal with on this site not even including this section. So lets help try and keep this forum area clean by reading and using the search tool before we post!.

Honestly i don't care about stickies i have 3. I just don't want to see members get fooled our scammed because they all complain on the forums and spam TTG calling us scammers and some even leave the site because they think we are filled with useless scammers which is not true!

really do think should stickied because the "15 prestige" lobby is full of idiots willing to take money of naive kids think this warning should pop up when you click to go into the prestige lobby before you even see who's trying to scam
