When I try to update my xbox 360 it give me an error code and I can't download, I called xbox support and they told me to update it with usb and that didn't work , and they told me to do numerous other things. In the end it's still didn't work, any solutions?
Error code is 417f-42fe-1380-c000-0185.

Updating with USB should never fail. All you do is download it from Xbox.com and place it on your USB, plug your USB into your Xbox, and (optional) transfer to main storage device.

At least it never failed for me, let me know if you did the above when it didn't work, if you didn't use those simple steps.

Hmm..I'm not too sure on what to do here, someone will sweep in and correct my mistakes in a few minutes, no worries.

Is your Xbox 360 a slim 4GB?

Try clearing cache or pressing and holding the sync button on the Xbox during boot.
