You get past it and face the consequences and look forward to the next exam. Thats all you can really do in a situation like this.

Ask for extra credit and/or a retake. Other than that, talk to your teacher I guess.

Important, take summer school to pass the course. Dont bring yourself down, this is easily fixed. Just try really hard in summer school.

Ok well in college there won't be retakes nor will there be extra credit so don't get too comfy with that. My tip would be to go back and keep learning it even after you failed the exam on it because on the next one there will be questions over the things you just failed.

Ive been in the same situation. There is no specific way on how to handle it. For me, i went through it. I learned from my mistakes and tried harder on the next exam. If you failed the class, retake the class again and try again, never put yourself down, that is bad for you. Pull yourself together and tell yourself that you will take school work seriously from now on. Most students dont study or think that an hour of study a day is enough, but that is not true. Depending on the class, you are suppose to study 2-3 hours for every hour in class.
