I feel like TTG is becoming better and better each day if I'm honest.
To your first argument- Not true, people do reply to threads. Come take a look in the PC sections, there are a few of us in there that make sure as many topics as possible are answered to the OP's satisfaction. I mean, it's not like people are paid to reply to your thread and if it's not worth replying to, people just won't post. If you ask for help and someone knows the answer, they will help you but if no one replies to it, then they probably never knew the answer you were looking for.
2nd argument- Not necessarily. Not all the new comers with no posts just ask for things, though some do, of course.
3rd- TTG is trying to turn away from their whole 'modding' reputation. I feel like it's dying out tbh, and I feel like consoles are dying down a little, the PS3/XB360 were much more popular than current gen consoles and there were lots of kids modding, complaining and gaming back in 2009/2010 but now, the majority of the site has matured. Many members now have jobs and just game in their spare time and like to have fun, they don't feel the need to start arguments about which console is better or ask for modded lobbies and shit anymore.
4th- Meh. I don't agree nor disagree. I rarely stray from the PC sections in all honesty but if their are no topics in the PC sections for me to reply to, I'll take a look at other sections and there are usually topics elsewhere that will keep me busy. So, yeah, sometimes there aren't many topics to reply to in certain sections, but there is always a new topic somewhere, plus there's the shoutbox.
5th- I think you still get your moneys worth when you get gold, but it would be nice to see some additional gold member only features tbh.

Ehh idk. I've actually been here for years (I don't remember my first account info) but I've been around since mw2 was released.
People say this every year. Just watch, stick around and you'll see this pops up at least once.
I honestly think it's the change in environment. Less modders, more diverse people.
I'm not nearly as active as I was, I work full time and mainly check the news when I have some down time.
However I will agree with the fact that people don't reply as much as they used to.
However I think it's more on the difference of people then anything. I personally made a topic about my career and had posted for prior to ask any question. Not one reply.
I also posted about free programs I make, they get consistent replies.
However, back in the day, some things were a lot different. Less helpfulness at times and more post spamming. I remember the conspiracy forum being filled with tupac threads and mw2 being filled with slb clans and skirmishes.
Things change. Frequent other forums and you may notice it's better.

The site isn't dying it's just changing a lot from what I have seen. Back when I joined every section was filled with people trying to get into modded lobbies or looking for a clan of some sort. Now a days, it's grown away from that and has actually become "TheTechGame" instead of "TheModdedLobbyForumWebsite" if you see what I mean. Now I can find people posting things tech related, weather it is building a computer or making a custom case for a Jtag. Some people like the change and some people don't. I personally am loving it and I have been more active than ever.
