i made this because hes a inspirational figure on my life so i just made this i had a good idea on it. but it didnt really work out. i made mlk different than the crowd by cutting him out. then i put him on another picture of the crowd and changed the opacity of the crowd so i can put my favorite part of his speech in the picure. and it looked good. until i seen all the empty space and i added the mlk jr. and the I have a dream today! but tell if anything what should i add to it. Im not really sure if i should keep it either. rate it 1/10 please tell me whats bad and whats good also.

Making a smudge out of that image would be sick.

Leave the bevel and emboss out next time, it looks really unclean and unprofessional, but I really like your effort.

Agreed. If you don't know what he's talking about, using the smudge tool.
It's practically going over the image with the smudge tool, with a lower setting, giving it a soft, somewhat oily type look. I'm sure if you search the web you could find a nice tutorial.

As Andy-Biersack said, you should leave out the bevel and emboss, and maybe add a bit more textures too it.
its looks a bit too simple now
but nice work anyways! MLK Jr is one of my inspirational figure aswell!

The cropping out of the image isn't really needed for your image, but this guy seems to know what he's doing so I'd give it a watch.
It'll take some time, so don't rush or it will come out very sloppy.
He uses some layer filters, which I don't, I just use the smudge by itself but either way will work.
