I may be receiving the Moto 360 as a Christmas gift and I really need some questions answered. So here comes the kicker. About a week after Christmas I will be able to get a new phone and I can not decide between the iPhone 6 or galaxy s5. I am leaning towards the iPhone 6; However, I am curious whether or not the Moto 360 will suffer greatly without a paired Android device.
I would like to know what features I will be missing out on the Moto 360. I just dont know If I should go with a nearly year old galaxy just to unlock the full potential of my watch.
Plus rep if anyone as a soltion to this issue below.
Is there any way to get google play apps such as Facer on the Moto 360 without going threw an android device?

Android Wear devices like the Moto 360 are not compatible with iOS or Mac right now, possibly in future iterations but not now so if you want to use your 360 you'll have to get an Android phone.
