Making it illegal was a way to turn these political activists into criminals, in the public eye, because LSD was associated with the counterculture

Whoo! You are probably right, as my old band director used to say, "get that oxygen high", but it all seriousness you might be right, I have never though of it in this way before, and we see differently when we begin to lose it. I almost choked on a biscuit in third grade(stupid @$$h0l35 I sat by did nothing, what great friends, didn't even notice I was choking) and I began to see, stuff change due to the lack of oxygen.

Also, oxygen is actually the thing that prevents us from living forever here on earth, due to the background radiation or something. That prevents us from living past 4,000 and something years.
