Before i begin, i want to say I made all this, It took a while, but i made it.
Spamming
Spamming is posting or sending Messages, emails, or topics that have no point/use.
Example:
An example of spamming would be replying to someones topic saying "cool, 202020202020"
Why shouldn't you spam?
1.Against TTG Rules ( found here Forums/rules.html ) And Spamming could result in a Warning/Temp. Ban from the Site.
2. It has no use, therefore not helping anybody in any way
3. ( Straight from the rules)
Difference between Spamming and Useful Topics
Spamming is something on the internet that is posted, emailed, or sent that has no Use at all.
Useful topics are topics that have meanings, and they help other people.
Example of Useful Topic
- An example of a useful topic would be a stickyied topic in any Forum ( For instance this topic > Forums/viewtopic/t=653791.html )
So basicaly, spam has no Point once-so ever, and useful topics have a point ans are helpful.
Post count Boosting (PC Boosting)
A post count is the number of posts a user has posted in his/her time on this site.
The post count can be found right below the users Online/Offline status
Why do people Post Count Boost?
- Sometimes people think if you have high Post count, then you are cool, this is not the truth. Having a high post count can be good, but then again it can be bad. Some people just spam to get a high post count, others don't spam, they post useful topics, they just post a topic every minute, which can also be viewed as spam, even though it has a point. The #1 Reason people spam or PC Boost on this site is to be in the top 5 posters
Reasons not to PC Boost
- Only post a topic if you have a reason for posting, not just to raise your post count
- Post count does not mean you are cool, it is just showing people how many posts you have created
- Alot of cool people on this site have under 1k Posts, so therefore this proves post count is not what makes you cool/well-known on this site, its what you do that makes you cool/well-known
How to Post
( this is coming Straight from the TTG Rules )
4.1 Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do or don't want to read.
4.2 Keep the focus. Each board has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain board will either be moved to the appropriate board, locked, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate board. Users that post in the wrong board will be warned. Continuing these actions will result in a banned.
4.3 DO NOT bump your topics. Doing so causes unnecessary clutter to the forum.
4.4 If you post a one-lined message such as "lol", "+1", etc... it is classified as SPAM and will be removed. Multiple offenses can result in all your posts needing moderator approval or a complete loss of posting rights.
4.5 Do NOT report your OWN post(s) for any reason.
What to do if you see someone Spamming/PC Boosting
- If you EVER see someone Spamming/PC Boosting, go to the bottom of their post and look for this button > https://www.thetechgame.com/images/modules/report.gif, then click on the reason tab, then select your reason for reporting. Then click "Send" , after you do that, your report will be sent to a Moderator Team for investigation
Conclusion
In Conclusion, only post topics that have a meaning and can help people, Dont post for no reason/ just to raise your Post Count.

Like debating, like choosing obama over mc-ain? then no, nut you can express your opinion, just make sure its not harming anyone
